The BCTC Newtown Pike Campus has transformed the 65 acre former Eastern State Hospital into a beautiful college campus. Located adjacent to downtown Lexington, the campus strikes a balance between the urban environment and a campus setting while preserving a few of the historic structures, mature shade tress and open spaces. Element design has been involved in many of the phases of development of the campus, from master planning, to the development of new classroom buildings, expansion of pedestrian and vehicular infrastructure, as well as adding signage and wayfinding throughout the campus.
