Renovation of a much beloved community park playgound that was constructed by volunteers over two decades ago, now dilapidated and with accessibility issues. Element design along with LFUCG Parks and Recreation sought to design a playground that embraces the original experience and appearance while introducing educational features related to hydrology, geology and nature of the Bluegrass.

Sprayground

Design for a new 3,000sf public sprayground facility for the LFUCG Parks and Recreation. The project scope included a new restroom building that also provided the housing for all of the sprayground mechanical equipment, new walkways and sprayground amentities, added parking and landscape design. The design for the sprayground included a central feature and multiple types of sprayers to provide a variety of experiences for all ages.
