Bullitt County Campus Master Plan
Jefferson Community and Technical College
The master plan was developed through the collection of base mapping, inventory and analysis, and concept development. The College wished to embrace natural site features including an existing pond, drainage ways, wooded areas and a creek north of the site. Future buildings, potential commercial parcels and multi-functional open spaces were located close to the roadways for high visibility and functionality. Vehicular circulation was designed to leave large areas of woods intact and locate part of the existing drainage way in islands; trails were incorporated within the existing wooded areas and provide access to the creek.
